The D fuse-system is the first generation of the screw fuse-system in the german DIN standard. It is still used in many installations. Applications are low voltage ditribution units, where non trained persons are allowed to change the fuse-links. The D fuse-range comprises the sizes NDZ, DII, DIII, DIV, DV. The range of applications for D fuse-links gG is the protection of cables and power lines. They limit and cut off unacceptable overcurrents and short circuit currents up to their nominal breaking capacity. D fuse-links gG also protect equipments and installations against dynamic effects of high short circuit currents.

Fork Design Wiring bars in fork design are ideal for the wiring of modular panel-mounting devices as per DIN 43880 with flat-type, dual-function or single-screw terminals. Additional incoming terminals are required when wiring devices with flat-type or single-screw terminals. In contrast, devices with dual-function terminals allow bar connection to the top section of the terminal with simultaneous incoming supply in the bottom section. The use of end caps on multi-pole wiring bars guarantees optimum shock-hazard protection and prevents arcing at bar ends. Pin Design Wiring bars in pin design are ideal for the wiring of modular panel-mounting devices to DIN 43880 with box terminal, frame terminal or two-scre clamp. NH fuse-bases are available for delivery in single-pole and three-pole designs and can be closely mounted in parallel rows. Each three-pole base is upplied with two phase-partition walls. NH fuse-links plugon covers which clip onto the contact springs can also be supplied for these bases. Plastic fuse-bases sizes 00 to 3 have a single-part plastic base while size 4 has a metal baseplate with 2 ceramic bases. The stable silver-plated contact springs are made of electrolytic copper and formed from one piece. Separate springing is provided by highly resilient captive steel springs, making the contact invulnerable to high thermal stress. Size 4 NH fuse-bases are designed for size 4 fuse-links with 8 mm contact blades. A microswitch (250VAC/10A, terminal size 6.3x0.8mm) can be used with NH fuse-links with striker, it operates when fuse melts or where there is no fuse-link. Indirect touch protection fuse bases no microswitch possible. Rated impulse withstand voltage Uimp 6kV / 8kV (sizes 00 / 0-4)
